The image of the Brazilian Indian, as well as his rich culture, reaches us extremely distorted. However, even if we do not realize it, there are many influences present in our daily lives. These are evidenced in our language, cooking and even in common habits like our daily bath.
There are more than 12,000 terms of the Tupi and Macro-gê trunks incorporated into the Portuguese language spoken in Brazil; Delicacies such as canjica and popcorn are also of indigenous origin; As well as the act of bathing ourselves every day, also acquired with the Brazilian natives. Hence the need to recognize these aspects so present in our day-to-day life.
